Located on Via delle Volte (corner of Porta Reno), near the last remaining medieval Gentilizia tower in Ferrara, the Osteria degli Angeli is one of Ferrara’s historic locales. The welcoming tavern’s business activity is documented back to the 1400s, when the customs office was located in the premises along with the attached food and drink establishment for the merchants and transporters travelling through the area while doing business. There was also a wine cellar. The Osteria degli Angeli offers traditional Ferrarese dishes, both indoors and out in the small and welcoming outdoor area immersed in the charm of the famous Via delle Volte
