Tourist Information Office - IAT of Ferrara is located in the courtyard of the Estense Castle.
On the ground floor, the office is recognizable thanks to the signage and accessible through a ramp.

The office staff can offer tourist information about:
- the city of Ferrara
- the area around and outside Ferrara
The staff has a specific tourism education, has the professional regional tour guide license, can speak English, German and French and is glad to welcome both Italian and foreign visitors.
The office offers free information and material about the museums, monuments and events, providing information both directly and through e-mail and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Intagram).
In the office there are display cabinets with explicative/informative paper tourism material and a consultation desk.
It is recognized by the Province as "Ufficio Informazione ed Accoglienza turistica” according to the standards set by the regional guideline 956/2005.
The booking activities done at the IAT for accomodation and marketing facilities are managed by the joint venture (made up of Dinamica Media, Co.Ge.Tour., Po Delta Tourism, Elite Island and Studio Borsetti) to which the management of such service has been assigned by the Municipality of Ferrara.
