Parco Bacchelli

Parco Bacchelli is the new sports complex located in the heart of Ferrara’s Bassani Urban Park.

A large facility with an entire park dedicated to water, health and fun for adults and children alike. Divided into two areas, an outdoor area for the summer season (open from May to September) and an indoor area (open from September to May), which allows the facility to remain open 12 months a year thanks to its 250 m² indoor swimming pool.

The outdoor area features:
-1 Olympic-sized 50-metre, 8-lane pool for competitive swimming and leisure swimming;
-1 lagoon pool with water depths ranging from 15 cm to 125 cm;
-a fantastic sunbathing area with sun loungers and parasols (on the grass and on the decking next to the pool).

We also have a beach volleyball court and a beach tennis court – both on real sand (open from April to September) – as well as a Spray Park (featuring water arches, water cannons and water slides, etc.).

The indoor area comprises a 25-metre pool. – 5 lanes, with at least one lane always reserved for public swimming (outside of times allocated to competitive clubs), a 1.20-metre-deep teaching pool and a section of the gym used for classes ranging from gentle exercise, Pilates and stretching to fitness and total body workouts, as well as dance classes for young girls.

Next to our swimming pools and various outdoor areas is the Kafè Bacchelli Restaurant, ready to welcome you for breakfast, lunch, dinner or events, with a menu ranging from homemade pasta to special pizzas (https://www.kafebacchelli.it/).

Convenient free parking is available throughout the entire site.
