Saltworks tour

With the coming of spring, the Comacchio Salt Pans re-open their precious treasure chest, which holds evidence of both distant and more recent pasts. Here, you can still breathe in the vastness of the lagoons, remember the hard work of the salt workers, and immerse yourself in enchanting nature.

Walking tours and train tours suitable for everyone are planned, along with special events for children and families.

Clothing and equipment: comfortable clothing is recommended, along with sneakers, a hat, a water bottle, binoculars, and mosquito repellent.

Walking tours: from April 3 to June 15 (calendar available at www.salinadicomacchio.it)

Train tours: April 6 (Easter Monday), May 1, and June 2 at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3:00 p.m.
From mid-June to the end of August, every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
