Ferrara Station, opened in 1862, is the main railway station in Ferrara and its province.
The station is served by the Bologna-Padua line and is the terminus for the Ferrara-Codigoro, Suzzara-Ferrara and Ferrara-Ravenna-Rimini lines.
There are direct connections to Rovigo, Padua, Venice, Bologna, Ravenna, Mantua, Rimini, Florence, Rome, Naples, Pescara and Vienna.
