Museum of the Territory
The Museum of the Territory of Ostellato illustrates the evolution of the earth and of humankind throughout history. Starting from the origins of the universe and the birth of the Earth until now, it retraces the different stages of the relationship between man and environment, made of transformations and reciprocal influence.
The installation, thought especially for the former barn of Corte Valle, develops on the ground floor the theme of the evolution of the ground and transformation of the delta area.
An excellent section is devoted to the Etruscan period and to the city of Spina, which was given a mise-en-scène evoking its daily life. Plans, pictures, videos and textes gathered in four interactive stations offer the visitor other instruments of in-depth examination.
