Third Step: Delizia del Belriguardo

Fourth Step: Delizia Estense del Verginese

Initially a countryside house, the Verginese villa was transformed into a ducal residence at the beginning of the 16th century by Alfonso I d’Este and donated to Laura Eustochia Dianti. The Lady made it into her private court and had it restored by Girolamo da Carpi. The rooms of the palace host a permanent exhibition about a small Roman necropolis found near the Delizia.
