Riso di Jolanda

Ingredients (for 4 people)
200 g rice, ½ liter milk, ¼ liter water, 3 tablespoons flour, 4 tablespoons sugar, 1 egg, grated lemon peel, frying oil, raisins (optional)

Preparation

Cook the rice in milk and water. Add flour, sugar, egg, lemon peel and raisins (if you like). Mix well to obtain a smooth batter. Drop spoonfuls of batter into boilin oil. Dry on blotting paper and dust with sugar.
Serve hot.
