The Giostra del Borgo celebrates its 23rd edition this year: at the Municipal Racecourse in Ferrara, ladies, knights, musicians, cooks and fire-eaters await you for a grand festival with historical re-enactments.
The Giostra del Borgo is a unique opportunity to stroll through a medieval citadel, taking a leap into the past, sharing the life of the armed camp and the training of archers with historical bows, enjoying theatre and music performances in the Arena, evocative fire shows, or participating in conferences and debates.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the culinary delights: every evening, from 7.30 pm, the “Giostra del Borgo” restaurant and the “Hostaria” will be open, serving traditional dishes from Ferrara and more.
