The Clam Festival takes place in Goro, a small village whose economy is based on fishing and aquaculture, nestled within the protected area of the Po Delta.
At the food stall, you can enjoy traditional seafood dishes. The menu ranges from starters featuring mussels and clams, to first courses such as spaghetti with clams and pennette with blue crab, right through to main courses of mixed fried seafood, stewed cuttlefish, and vegan and children’s options.
No booking is required; entry is free and the festival takes place every evening from 7.00 pm (food stalls).
To accompany the culinary delights, there is live music every evening, entertainment for children and adults and boat trips in the Sacca di Goro.
