Old friends. Big trees in Ferrara

The exhibition presents the work of Ferrarese photographer Dario Berveglieri, illustrated in the book of the same name edited by Marco Lorenzetti and published by Corbo Editore in 1996. Taken in that same year, the photographs depict the trees of the area as “green companions”, intertwined with the daily life of the places and people who inhabit them. Leaves, roots, trunks and plant profiles are explored with the wonder and curiosity of someone who finds themselves in the presence of a complex and marvellous world.

These works reflect Berveglieri's educational and professional background, which has spanned various fields: from journalistic reportage to advertising photography, from the digitisation of ancient documents to the creation of visual materials for theatre and staged readings.
