The Festival of Venus clam has become an event of great importance, with its gastronomic stalls from all over Italy

Eating soft, tasty clams that smell of the sea at Goro is not just a gastronomic act: it’s a real experience for your taste buds. Harvested and cooked by fishermen in the Sacca, clams represent all the wealth of flavours of the Delta. Strong sharp flavours, symbolic of mankind’s struggle with a harsh but generous environment, of people who have made their difficult job into a unique art. With long pasta, stewed or just blanched, all the taste of the sea in one small mouthful.

The Festival of Venus clam has become an event of great importance, with its gastronomic stalls from all over Italy, plus a great fair of technical products for fishing. Entertainments, guided tours, birdwatching and fishing will be also possible during the festival.

At the gastronomic stand Venus clam and other products of the sea will be served.
