Nights at the Court
Guided tours
The magic of a glorious past will revive at the Este Castle, with the “Nights at the Court” programme, from July, 9th, to August, 20th. On Wednesday evenings, it will be possible to visit the Castle until 11 PM (last entrance: 10,15 PM), and to get charmed by animation ad entertainment.
It will be possible to enter from 7 PM, with or without taking part into the guided tour, it will also be possible to go for an “aperitivo”.
At 9,00 PM, the last tour of the Castle will start.
The event is organized by Provincia and Comune di Ferrara, in collaboration with Itinerando snc and Orsatti Group, with the participation of Ente Palio di Ferrara.

Temporary installation by Behzad Yahaghi at the Oranges Loggia, with music and poetry.

”Appointment in the dark”
A tour for those who want to experiment different levels of perception: the guide will lead the group in the dark, pointing out acoustic, tactile and olfactory stimulations. A group of 8 members will emphasize space distinctions.

The Art of banqueting at the Este Court
Cooks, recipes and general apparel… Themed guided tour with the participation of the “Contrade” from Palio di Ferrara, and a gastronomy tasting at the Oranges Loggia.

Treasure hunt
Treasure hunt for kids aged 6-11: find the treasure of the Este Family, which is still hidden in their ancient house! In the meantime, parents could join the guided tour, which lasts approximately one hour.

Events organized by Itinerando in collaboration with Palio di Ferrara, Orsatti Group, Associazione La Girobussola and Gruppo vocale Baldoria Mundi.
All the guided tours are in Italian language.

Kinderheim at the Este Castle. The City Centre of Ferrara offers the first kinderheim for children, an afternoon with animation, games and laboratories, while parents can go shopping or visiting the city!
