The exhibition has been set after several months of theoretical lessons, photography session and post-productions, and after a workshop organized last year by Fotoclub Ferrara (with the collaboration of the Etnographic Centre of Ferrara, and many museum and associations of the Municipality of Ferrara).

The main topic of the 7 sections is the analysis of Michelangelo Antonioni’s movie “Blow Up”, and its impact on contemporary visual culture. The exhibition shows 58 photographies of  great impact.

From January to December it will be possible to visit the areas usually limited to the public (Cassa Campotto and Bosco del Traversante), both on foot or by bike.

The Campotto Oasis, on a surface of 1624ha, shows a great variety of landscapes: from country fields, to wetlands, to woods.
After the land reclamation of the first decades of the 20th Century, they have been divided into basins: Cassa Campotto,  Cassa Bassarone , and Cassa Vallesanta.
The Traversante Wood is a 150-ha hygrophilus wood, from the ancient planes which occupied this area before land reclamation.
The wet grasslands in the Campotto and Vallesanta areas are very important from the naturalistic point of view. Many birds live there, all year round.

Excursions are organized for groups of at least 5 people; reservation is required  (at least two days in advance).

A month of celebrations, parades, races and competitions between the eight Contrade [quarters tied to the parish] to win the precious drape dedicated to Saint George, the patron saint of Ferrara. The already warm month of May welcomes the figurants in original costume who parade through the streets of the city centre and the hard-fought flag-throwing competitions in Piazza del Municipio take us up to the spectacular horse race in Piazza Ariostea.
